But i have installed minitubs, quarters, floor, truck pan, omg its a ton of work. Now I cant decide to go ls or not. Im ready for a motor now. Then paint and interior. I had a nova I built over a 5 year span. Got to the point where the custom paint was so nice I was afraid to drive it and couldn’t enjoy it. Sold it over a year ago and have no regrets. Was lucky to sell it when the market was strong. There are always more cars out there

It can be a huge relief cutting ties with a project. I'm glad you came to the right choice for you. Knowing what it takes to repair floor pans and roof rust, I totally respect your decision. I'm of course sad you no longer have the Nova, but I understand your reasoning. No one should be blasting you for doing what you want with your life and money. I hope you are ok health wise! I'll still stick around, you are one of the reasons I started doing UA-cam myself.

Will it read MPG on the 3rd gen?

One of my all-time favorite classic cars. And I like the turquoise w/ white interior. I live up in Washington, have all my life. Almost 3 years ago, I acquired a red/red '64 SS w/ 327 and Powerglide. And I swapped our it's original 250-horse motor for a remanufactured 327 w/ 330-horse and the 3.08 w/ a 3.36 plus limited slip posi. I'm debating whether or not I'm gonna pursue getting a Muncie 4-speed for it. But so far, I've been quoted $10 Grand bare minimum parts & labor, so I probably won't do it. The Powerglide is too good for me to want to go to a different automatic.

Theres an awesome yellow/blue digital Prado Inclinometer that would look awesome in the 3rd gens. I'm working on getting that one in now. I got the Hilux FMU overhead AND another Landcruise OH panel that has aux fuel tank gauge and mechanical altimeter. Looks awesome.

Im looking for a ‘64 convertible , my ‘64 was my mom’s car and I took it over back in 1973. Someone hit me in the back and bent my frame. Bought a ‘55 chevy wagon back in 1976 and kept it until 1986 & sold it , which I regret.

I'm installing new dual brake master cylinder, did your original brake cylinder had a single brake line? before converting to duel? if so, how did you add another secondary line? CPP spindles will narrow your track by 3/4” or you could narrow the control arm. If you buy narrowed arms they will be about the price of your new wheels or you could cut and weld your stock ones. Pics online, not terribly difficult just make sure your welding game is on point or take it to someone to finish weld it all. Good luck.

I like you have always wanted a 64 SS. The prices put me out of the market. I wound up buying a 40 Special Deluxe and I love it.

Looks like you have the calipers on the wrong side, the bleeders are supposed to up or you’ll never get them bled correctly.

If you’re gonna wear them Jesus shoes in all of your videos you should at least paint your toenails Nova Green!😎
